The Feughside in Strachan offers wonderful guest house accommodation, set in a gorgeous countryside setting. Based near Banchory in a scenic area of Aberdeenshire, we are ideal for a magical country retreat.

Our charming guest house has 8 beautiful en suite bedrooms available, all perfect for a restful night’s sleep. Bedrooms consist of a quadruple, a triple, 4 doubles and 2 twins, plus and extra double with a private bathroom. Four of the rooms boast stunning hill and river views. All the rooms come with a range of excellent facilities for a relaxing stay.

In the morning, you can tuck in a delicious breakfast to set you up for the day ahead. From a healthy starter to a full Scottish breakfast, we have something for everyone. Breakfast is served in the dining room which offers breathtaking views.

We are in the ideal location for discovering all that the area has to offer. Balmoral Castle, Craigevar Castle, Dunottar Castle, Slanes Castle and Crathies Castle and Gardens are all easily accessible. You can visit a range of stone circles, including 9 Stanes, Tomnaverie, Cullerlie. The area also has lots of fantastic walking and cycling routes, offering the perfect way to admire the amazing natural landscape.

The guest house is close to the towns of Banchory, Aboyne, Ballater, Braemar, Stonehaven and Aberdeen, all home to shops, restaurants, pubs and attractions. Fishing is also available at the Mill of Strachan lochs, a 2-minute walk across the road for £20 per day. Fishing tickets can be purchased from us.
