The cottage is just a few miles from good shopping and local amenities. The Muir of Dinnet National Nature Reserve lies at the heart of the Dinnet Estate and covers 2,872 acres, managed by Scottish Natural Heritage. Visitors can enjoy scenic walks around Lochs Kinord and Davan or explore the Burn O’Vat Visitor Centre. The wider estate extends across more than 12,000 acres designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest, offering striking landscapes and a wealth of biodiversity.

There are also many attractions nearby, including Tomnaverie Stone Circle, Craigievar Castle, Deeside Activity Park and the Grampian Transport Museum, all within easy reach for days out and exploration.
