Details
Monandavan is a traditional granite house set among pinewoods, enjoying fine views across the moorland to the south. It stands within the Muir of Dinnet National Nature Reserve and the Cairngorms National Park, offering a peaceful setting surrounded by unspoilt countryside.
The cottage has been fully modernised while carefully preserving many of its original features, creating a comfortable and welcoming space that retains its character. Accommodation includes a double bedroom with an en-suite on the ground floor, along with two twin bedrooms upstairs.
Monandavan is ideally placed for exploring Royal Deeside, offering easy access to walking and cycling routes, wildlife watching and peaceful countryside relaxation. The Muir of Dinnet National Nature Reserve sits at the heart of the Dinnet Estate, covering 2,872 acres and managed by Scottish Natural Heritage. Scenic trails wind around Lochs Kinord and Davan, and the Burn O’Vat Visitor Centre provides further insight into the area. A variety of attractions can be found nearby, including Tomnaverie Stone Circle, Craigievar Castle, Deeside Activity Park and the Grampian Transport Museum, all easily accessible for enjoyable days out.
