The Muir of Dinnet National Nature Reserve sits at the heart of the Dinnet Estate, covering 2,872 acres and managed by Scottish Natural Heritage. Scenic trails wind around Lochs Kinord and Davan, and the Burn O’Vat Visitor Centre provides further insight into the area. Beyond this, the wider estate extends over more than 12,000 acres of land designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest, renowned for its striking scenery and diverse wildlife.

A variety of attractions can be found nearby, including Tomnaverie Stone Circle, Craigievar Castle, Deeside Activity Park and the Grampian Transport Museum, all easily accessible for enjoyable days out.
