Seggat Farm Holiday Cottages are set in the middle of the rolling Aberdeenshire countryside outside of Turriff. It is a peaceful haven with beautiful unspoilt views and plenty of wildlife, an ideal base from which to explore the beautiful Scottish Highlands.

It is situated just off the A947 about 30 minutes north of Aberdeen and is the ideal base to explore this northern corner of the country. Both the east and northern coastlines can be reached in less than 30 minutes, as can the Cairngorms National Park to the west.

We offer two beautifully renovated cottages for self catering holidays which are ideal for families or couples wanting a relaxed or adventurous holiday! There are many walks, beaches or castles to visit; or if you are keen at fishing, riding or shooting these are easily arranged for you. And don't forget the Whisky Trail!

Keepers Cottage: Keepers Cottage is a 3 bedroom traditional cottage sleeping up to 8 people. It has 3 double bedrooms (1 en suite), shower room and a double sofa bed within the sitting room. Each bedroom can be equipped with one King sized bed or two singles if required. There is a large sitting room equipped with sofa, LCD TV, DVD player, Wii games console and a feature fireplace with wood burning stove.

Outside is a private garden with patio area allowing for alfresco dining. We have also provided outdoor seating and a “sitouterie” (a Scottish word for Summer House).

Gardeners Cottage: Gardeners Cottage is a 2 bedroom traditional cottage sleeping up to 6 people with a bathroom and shower room. The 2 bedrooms sleep 4 and there is a double sofa bed within the lounge. Each bedroom can be equipped with one King sized bed or two singles if required. The large open living space with kitchen, dining area and the sitting room keeps eating and relaxing together with a central feature in a cosy room. There is a large sitting room with a sofa (sofabed), LCD TV, DVD player, Wii and feature fireplace with wood burning stove.

Outside is a private garden with patio area also allowing for al fresco dining. The front of the cottage has a decked seating area.

Many guests at Seggat are content to just spend their time relaxing around the farm, strolling around the duck pond and feeding carrots to Harry the horse!

Hunting and stalking can be arranged upon request. Seggat has over 2000 acres of rough shoot – pheasant, partridge, geese and pigeons. There’s nothing like going out and bringing your own dinner home with you! Fishing is also available on-site – feel free to bring your rod.

Turriff and District, North East Scotland is set in the heart of Aberdeenshire, with easy access to castles, distilleries, museums, a range of historical sites and the coast, the Turriff area offers an ideal base from which to discover this lesser-known jewel in Scotland's crown.

Excellent fishing, shooting, golf, riding, and a host of other activities are available and there are beautiful areas for walking throughout the year.
