Prosen Hostel is an 18-bed bunkhouse located in Glen Prosen, on the edge of the Cairngorms National Park and just nine miles north of Kirriemuir. Ideally positioned for outdoor enthusiasts, it offers easy access to the South Cairngorms Footpath Network, with routes leading to Glen Clova, Glen Isla and Deeside. Set within one of the finest Angus Glens, the hostel provides the perfect base for a relaxing stay in a truly spectacular setting, where guests can enjoy breathtaking views and encounter an abundance of local wildlife.

Bedrooms consist of three 4 bedrooms and one 6 bedroom, great for groups, families and friends. For larger groups, exclusive rentals are available. All guests have use of the modern kitchen that comes with a fridge, dishwasher, and freezer. Unwind in the living area that has a toasty wood burning stove, sofa space, seating for 18 and a TV. In total, there are 4 showers and 3 toilets. A laundry room is also available.

There is a large lawn and picnic bench outside, great for a coffee in the morning.

The Minister's Path, to Glen Clova, part of the East Cairngorms footpath trail, runs nearby. We are on the very southernmost edge of Cairngorms National Park. Red squirrel often pass the window. The glen is teeming with wildlife including blackgame, ptarmigan; if you are lucky, you may see an otter or an eagle!
