Details

Picture yourself relaxing on the deck or by your own wood burning stove, enjoying a glass of your favorite drink, reflecting on a fantastic day exploring the wonders of the area and planning tomorrow's adventures. This dream becomes a reality when you stay at Loch Awe Luxury Eco Cabins.

Our architect-designed luxury eco cabins are perfectly situated to maximise our unique setting. Ideal for couples, each cabin offers luxurious accommodation that is also eco-friendly, powered primarily by solar energy and featuring wood burning stoves for heating.

We offer two cabins: Osprey's Lookout and Red Squirrel's Rest. Each cabin is compact yet thoughtfully designed to provide elegant and efficient self-contained living spaces, with an emphasis on creating a sense of openness. Entering from a private deck, the split-level interior descends gently from the living area with the Smart TV to the bedroom where you will find a luxurious kingsize bed. There is an en suite shower room. Tall windows showcase stunning views of Loch Awe, filling the space with natural light. Inside, the cabins feature a modern Scandinavian aesthetic, with natural wood panelling and tasteful furnishings. Innovative sustainable materials enhance the cabin's unique and striking appearance.

The wood burning stove is ready for use, quickly creating a cosy atmosphere whenever needed, with logs and kindling provided. Hot water is provided on demand by a small gas boiler. Cooking facilities include a two-ring gas burner, while a small fridge keeps food and drinks cool. Indoor dining is facilitated by a breakfast bar and outdoor dining can be enjoyed on the deck with table and chairs provided. Parking is conveniently located below the cabins and a short walk up steps leads to the front door.

The Cabins offer an ideal starting point for exploring the stunning Scottish surroundings. Whether you're scaling Ben Cruachan, one of Scotland's tallest peaks, leisurely exploring numerous forest trails, delving into the history of Kilchurn Castle and St Conan's Kirk (both nearby), enjoying fishing or boating on Loch Awe, visiting the historic sites of Kilmartin Glen, or marvelling at the dramatic landscapes of Glencoe, there's something here to captivate every adventurer.
