Braehouse Cottage - Sleeps 2

This charming traditional Highland cottage is nestled into the hillside, offering picturesque views of the islands to the north. Recently refurbished, it now accommodates two guests in a cosy double room, perfect for a romantic retreat.

Branault House - Sleeps 4

The house features a spacious enclosed garden, perfect for children and pets to play securely and it's just a brief stroll to the stunning white sands of Kilmory beach. The nearby hills offer excellent opportunities for scenic walks. After enjoying the fresh air and activities, unwind by the cosy log fire in the living room, which also includes satellite television. Upstairs, you'll find a twin and a double bedroom, along with a bathroom equipped with a shower and bath. The kitchen is well-appointed with a microwave, cooker, washing machine and fridge-freezer.

Fascadale Lodge - Sleeps 8

Constructed upon the remnants of a 15th-century shepherd's cottage, this home commands a stunning view of Fascadale Bay, offering a sweeping panorama of the islands to the north and mountain ranges to the east. The patio is a sun-drenched haven where you can observe birds, search for sharks, dolphins and whales in the distance, or simply relax with eyes closed, taking in the tranquil sounds and salty scents of the coastline.

Fascadale House - Sleeps 8

Perched above the horseshoe-shaped Fascadale Bay, this home offers windows framing views of turquoise waters and rocky coastlines. Whether on the patio or in the lounge, unwind to the soothing sound of waves crashing on the shore, taste the salt in the sea breeze and take in vistas of islands to the north. For ultimate relaxation, there's even a sauna available. During stormy weather, cosy up by the fireside and marvel at the dramatic winter storms. Don't forget your binoculars; basking sharks, dolphins and whales are frequently spotted offshore.

Fascadale Cottage - Sleeps 6

The cottage sits directly on the coast, built upon the remains of a netsman's bothy. Its location offers spectacular views of the Eigg, Muck and Rum mountains, as well as the majestic Cuillins of Skye. Fascadale Bay unfolds below with its breathtaking hues of green and turquoise waters. The bay itself is a sight to behold, adorned with banks of smooth stones weathered by countless storms along the shoreline. At low tide, a stretch of pale sand emerges, lending its distinctive colour to the waters. This was once the landing spot for boats bringing in their catch, stored in the historic ice house that still stands today.

Achateny House - Sleeps 8

The house boasts stunning northward views across the sea towards Skye, Eigg, Rum and Muck islands. The garden is a haven for songbirds, drawing a pair of sparrowhawks that frequently soar overhead. Towards the west, deer peacefully graze on open ground overnight, retreating to the hills at dawn. Achateny beach is just a short walk down a rugged private track. Otters are frequently spotted fishing among the reefs, while the seemingly deserted beach teems with lively bird activity.

Achateny Cottage - Sleeps 6

Descriptions may fall short, but the photos paint a vivid picture, this cottage is truly picturesque, boasting stunning views of the islands of Eigg, Rum and Skye. Originally the farmhouse for Achateny farm, it included a small one-room bothy where the shepherd resided. Today, the cottage features one double room, one twin room and a bunk-bed room, along with two bathrooms. The kitchen is well-equipped with a cooker, microwave, fridge with a freezing compartment, washing machine and dishwasher.

Swordle Byre - Sleeps 10

The converted byre seamlessly blends old-world charm with modern style. Retaining its original walls and courtyard, the interior is updated and contemporary. The spacious living area features a traditional log-burning stove and a 42-inch wide-screen television with satellite TV. This accommodation offers ample space for large families or groups, with a total of five bedrooms: three doubles and two twins, each with its own en-suite bathroom. Despite being advertised for ten guests, one of the double rooms includes a single sofa-bed, perfect for families and there's an additional double sofa-bed in the small upstairs lounge.

Swordle Bay House - Sleeps 11

The expansive windows offer panoramic views of the white sand bay stretching to the islands of Eigg, Muck, and Rum, and even further to the Cuillins of Skye. Whether enjoying the warmth of the fireside, you can witness summer sunsets or the drama of winter storms unfold. Directly in front of the house lies the beach, where children happily build sandcastles, explore tide pools and paddle in the shallow waters. Secluded at the end of a private road, the beach is perfect for sunbathing, swimming, boating, and enjoying barbecues in peace.

The Area

Ardnamurchan Estates are renowned for their red deer, meticulously bred and managed across generations to enhance their quality. Roe deer are also commonly spotted throughout the peninsula, while a few Fallow Deer inhabit the forested areas near Loch Mudle. For fishing enthusiasts, there are opportunities to explore the small lochs and streams scattered across the Estates, ideal for catching Brown Trout. Attractions to visit include:
