Craigton Smiddy is a luxurious self catering holiday home, nestled within the beautiful Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park. Our well appointed Scottish cottage is set in the village of Luss and is a gentle stroll from the local pub, eateries and shops.

Our holiday home was built from local stone in 1800 and has been tastefully refurbished to offer modern and plush self catering accommodation, whilst still retaining much of the original charm and character. At the cottage you will find:

A super king en suite, twin and King en suite bedroom. A private bathroom is also available.

All the bedrooms come with a modern flat-screen TV with Netflix.

Well-equipped kitchen with modern hob and oven.

Upright freezer.

Large fridge.

Open plan living area with wood burning stove.

Large conservatory/dining room with solid oak dining table and chairs.

Outside there is a large rear garden with a seating area and a natural burn running from the top of the garden and under the Smiddy. A barbecue is available for your use and plenty of garden furniture for your enjoyment.

The village of Luss is situated in The Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park - one of Scotland's most breathtaking scenic areas with a multitude of activities to enjoy. Luss is the signature village of Loch Lomond's western shores and surrounding area. It has a fascinating history and is well established as the number one place to visit when touring the world-famous Loch Lomond region. The village has a coffee shop, a general store a wonderful pier stretching over the loch itself. From the pier there are boat trips available to Balmaha and Balloch and some great watersports activities are available nearby. There is also a popular beach next to the pier.
