Glenlivet House Cottage offers fabulous self catering accommodation on the Glenlivet Estate, nestled in The Cairngorm National Park. We are within walking distance of The Glenlivet Malt Whisky Distillery and the ideal base for exploring Banffshire.

Our delightful cottage sleeps up to 14 people and is perfect for groups wishing to follow the Malt Whisky Trail, or to walk, cycle, play golf, fish , shoot, stalk or ski in the season.

The self catering accommodation consists of the kitchen which has a 4 door AGA cooker and also an adjoining utility room, and is next to a large dining/reception area. The cosy upstairs sitting room has an open log fireplace and Sky TV. There are gardens and plentiful parking. The double/twin master bedroom has an en suite bath/shower room and an adjoining small single bedroom/dressing room.

There are 3 other twin bedrooms (1 on the ground floor), a double bedroom with an additional single bed, a further bathroom and two separate WCs. There is also a small 'through' twin bedroom on the ground floor.

There is a huge variety of things to do, though soaking up the highland atmosphere and fresh air in itself is paramount. The Speyside Way goes right past the garden and is one of the premier hiking routes in the Cairngorms. Ben Rinnes, the highest peak in Moray is nearby and is easily climbed on a pathway in good weather. Numerous other routes are waymarked and The Glenlivet Estate Office in Tomintoul has full details of all local outdoor activities and wildlife watching.

The Glenlivet Distillery is one of the distilleries on The Malt Whisky Trail. Glenfiddich, The Macallan, Aberlour and Glenfarclas are among others nearby. There is fishing on The Spey, The Avon and locally on The Livet, in the season, and shooting and stalking can also be arranged. There are numerous golf courses in the vicinity, and the sea - The Moray Firth is less than an hour away, for surfing, coasteering, sailing, fishing etc.
