Waterside Cottage is a 150-year-old detached cottage set in a beautiful part of Bedfordshire, ideal for guests looking to relax and unwind. Situated in Linslade near Leighton Buzzard, the cosy cottage offers a peaceful setting where you can sit back and watch canal boats drift by or enjoy the local wildlife. Available for weekly stays and short breaks, it provides the perfect getaway for couples, families and nature lovers.

The ground floor of the cottage features a king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room, WC, bidet and utility area, a double bedroom and two twin bedrooms. There is a main bathroom with a shower over the bath, WC and basin, plus a separate shower room with WC and basin. The living room includes leather sofas, a log burner and Smart TV, while the conservatory offers patio seating with views over the canal. A spacious dining room with a large farmhouse table sits alongside a fully equipped kitchen with cooker, fridge-freezer, microwave and dishwasher.

On the first floor attic level, you’ll find a twin bedroom with sloping ceilings, a single bedroom with a sloping ceiling and a snug lounge with sofa seating, TV and DVD player, ideal for teenagers or quiet reading.

Outside, guests can enjoy a large lawn with picnic benches, a furnished terrace overlooking the canal and a back garden with a BBQ. The canal towpath can be accessed directly and parking is available for up to four cars, with additional space close by. Buoyancy aids are provided for canal access and guests are welcome to bring their own canoe or dinghy, with British Canoe Union members not requiring a licence. A nearby boatyard office is available for enquiries and fishing is possible in the canal close to the cottage with the relevant licence.
