The Windsor Trooper is an 18th-century public house and inn situated just a short walk from Windsor town centre and Windsor Castle, it is the perfect location for sightseeing, a mini break, or business trips. Located in the heart of a residential area, The Windsor Trooper offers the best of everything Windsor has to offer.

Each of our rooms is equipped with its own en-suite, towels, toiletries, hairdryer, flat-screen TV, tea and coffee making facilities and complimentary WiFi.

As we open at 11am, we do not serve breakfast at The Windsor Trooper. However, there are many local cafes and restaurants within a five-minute walk that offer breakfast. Our food menu is served daily from 11am to 5pm, featuring a delicious selection of Pieminster Pies and Paninis. At least five evenings a week, we host street food caterers offering pizza, Thai food and burgers.

The Windsor Trooper is one of the most popular pubs in town. You'll receive a warm welcome before enjoying a drink in the pub or our lovely sun-trap garden. The bar boasts a fantastic selection of ales, traditional cider, Belgian beers, fine wines and a large batch of gins, ensuring there's something for everyone. The Trooper also hosts live music every Thursday and a quiz night on the last Wednesday of each month.
