John O'Groats Caravan & Camping Site is in an idyllic setting on the seafront within John O'Groats village. The town of Wick is just 25 minutes away which is in the Scottish county of Caithness. Caithess has a lot to offer visitors, all within easy reach of the caravan and camping site.
There are 90 pitches available onsite which are available for tents, caravans and motorhomes. Some of the pitches are hard standing. This is a 3 star rated park which provides many facilities including:
Hot and cold water to all basins and 8 showers.
Hand dryers & shaver points.
Waste disposal and chemical disposal.
Fresh water points.
Within 1km of the site is a Post Office, petrol station, grocers and a hotel. From the site you can relax and enjoy the fine panoramic views of the Pentland Firth. To your left you will see the Island of Stroma, three and a half kilometres from the mainland, inhabited by a seal colony and the occasional visitor. In front of you will see the Orkney Islands from Hoy on your left then to South Walls, Flotta, South Ronaldsay and Pentland Skerries to your extreme right.
There are lots of attractions to see including the Last House which is adjacent to the site, Castle of Mey, Canisby Kirk and The Cairns of Camster.
