Y Cartws offers fantastic self catering accommodation in Llanwenog, set in a tranquil rural setting. We are next to a 12th Century church near Llanybydder in a beautiful area of Ceredigion.

Our house was mostly built using original stone and is well-insulated throughout. The property sleeps up to 4 people and there is a private parking area.

We have a gallery sitting room above the kitchen. Facilities include two luxury leather sofas, a TV and a DVD player. Books and DVDs are provided. This space enjoys lovely views of the church, woodland and valley. The farmhouse-style kitchen comes with a range of appliances including a microwave. There is an oil fired range, a sofa and a dining table that seats 6. The laundry room has an extra fridge with a freezer compartment.

The master bedroom comes with a super-king bed, TV, a Victorian-style radiator and hand-sewn Welsh quilt, purchased locally from Jen Jones. The en suite shower has a heated towel rail. A second bedroom comes with a twin bed, a TV and a Victorian-style radiator. A black and white tiled bathroom features a shower over the bath.

Outside we have a small lawn and a converted pig sty which is now an outhouse. This houses a washing machine, tumble drier and clothes horse.

A seating area includes a BBQ, perfect for al fresco dining.

We are near the local pub which is 5 minute drive away. Within a 30-minute drive are the beaches at New Quay, Penbryn and Tresaith. The nearest town of Llanybydder is 2 miles away, home to lots of amenities. Attractions to visit include:

Ynyslas National Nature Reserve.
