Glanmarlais Camping is an eco-friendly campsite on an organic farm in Wales, situated in the stunning Tywi Valley of Carmarthenshire. It offers an almost-wild camping experience with spectacular views of Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) and some of the world’s darkest skies for stargazing. The campsite features large pitches in a serene rural setting, with hot outdoor showers to enjoy after a day of walking, biking, swimming, or sightseeing. This quiet, family-friendly campsite is perfect for solo campers and couples alike.

Reconnect with nature and enjoy a peaceful retreat with amenities such as compost toilets, a hot shower powered by an air-source heat pump (with a changing room and vanity area), a washing-up area and a communal fridge. Charging facilities for electronic devices are available and a large barn provides a communal dry space with tables and seating. Campfires are permitted at your pitch, with firewood available for purchase on-site.

Proceeds from the campsite support a conservation grazing program to enhance the farm’s biodiversity and protect its habitats. Glanmarlais Farm has been certified organic by the Soil Association for 25 years and is a member of the Farming and Wildlife Advisory Group for Wales.

During the day, you can visit a range of excellent attractions - Carreg Cennen Castle, Aberglasney Gardens, the National Botanic gardens of Wales, Dinefwr Park or trek on the Black Mountain. Alternatively, remain more local and visit the ancient village and church of Llansadwrn or explore the farm and woodlands. For a day by the sea, guests can head to the beautiful beaches of Pembrokeshire and West Wales.

The area has world-class walking trails and mountain bike routes, both great ways to admire the amazing scenery. You can also explore the beautiful Towy Valley on the outskirts of the Brecon Beacons National Park, Llandeilo and Llandovery. The area is also a great site for motor biking.
