Eryl is a recently refurbished cottage, fitted out to the highest standards, situated on the Cardigan Bay coast line, based on a family farm in rural Mid Wales. Comfort is high on the agenda with central heating throughout the cottage, and top quality furniture and fittings. It provides all the home comforts without losing the rustic charm of a traditional Welsh cottage.
Available 365 days of the year, comfortably sleeping five, Eryl can provide the ideal base for your escape into the Ceredigion countryside.
Whether your here for the tranquillity of the Cardigan Bay waters, or the ruggedness of the Cambrian mountain range, or simply looking for a quiet hideaway to while away hours away from the nine to five, Eryl is the place for you.
Aberystwyth offers a wide selection of eating-places, catering for all tastes, as well as a cinema, theatres, and a castle, whilst Aberaeron is a traditional fishing harbour, maintained in it’s Georgian roots, a hive of restaurants offering from local Seafood, Beef and Lamb dishes, to Thai restaurants, or just good old fashioned fish and chips.
Cors Caron nature reserve is just one of the many natural attractions found in this area. One thing’s for sure, your family won’t have to go far from Eryl to fill your days away.
The kitchen is the comfortable heart of the cottage. Fitted with a dark navy oil-fi red Aga range, Belfast sink, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher, with a pine kitchen table, the kitchen provides ample room to plan your days away, or eat as a family. Double doors lead out to a garden room, with views out over the Welsh countryside.
Central to the lounge is the oil-fi red cast-iron stove, with ample sofa space to rest after whatever activity Cardigan bay has offered to you during the day, whether you wish to simply relax with a good book, or make use of the full home entertainment package provided.
Access to the ground floor rooms, including single bedroom is all on one level, providing a helping hand for the elderly and disabled.
Within Eryl, there are two bedrooms on the first floor: one double room (with wooden sleigh-style bed) and one twin. The bathroom upstairs has a slipper bath, W.C. and basin. Downstairs there is a single bedroom and a shower-room with W.C., basin and luxury power shower. Bed linen is provided.
Numerous attractions are included with Eryl during the summer months, including a Tennis court, indoor games room, and even a beach slipway, whilst the secluded beach is always an attraction, as well as sea and river fishing on site, all well within walking distance.
Eryl has a small supermarket on its doorstep, whilst the local pub serving home cooked meals is just a 2 minute walk. The nearest 18 hole golf course is within walking distance, as well as a theme park, and leisure centre.
