Summercourt Cottages offer charming accommodation in a rural setting in St Martin near Looe. Our cottages date from the 17th Century and have been beautifully renovated to offer high quality accommodation in one of Cornwall's most stunning Landscapes.

Our cottages are nestled in a glorious location on Bodigga Cliffs, ideal for the ultimate coastal retreat. We have six delightful cottages available, all of which enjoy spectacular views over the neighbouring fields and valley. Inside each cottage, there is a well-equipped kitchen, comfortable open plan living area and excellent shower/bathrooms. A children’s playground comes with a climbing frame, swings and a trampoline. In house paddle board hire and lessons are also available. We have a new fleet of electric bikes available for hire, ideal for nature lovers who don’t fancy driving around Cornwall.

We are adjacent to the South West Coastal Path which offers magnificent views of Whitsand Bay. Many attractions nearby include the Eden Project and the National Marine Aquarium. National Trust properties include Mount Edgcombe, Cotehele and Lanhydrock as well as other attractions. including the Lost Gardens of Heligan, Daphne du Maurier's Jamaica Inn and Morwhelan Quay.

For the garden lovers, superb and unusual plants are for sale at the Duchy Nurseries, National Trust Lanhydrock and lots of unusual named and long forgotten types of fruit trees are available at Endsleigh Nurseries, Milton Abbot. Sailing, fishing, diving and riding are all available nearby. Two golf courses are available at Looe and Whitsands with St Mellion International Course a short distance away. Arrangements can be made for either a sailing or canoeing experience in the Tamar Valley.
