Abels Cottage offers magnificent self catering accommodation in Bude, Cornwall. Nestled in a gorgeous countryside setting, we are ideal for a peaceful countryside retreat.

Our beautifully converted barn has over 200 years of history and was once the forge where the blacksmith Abel worked. The cottage still maintains many of its original features such as slate and wooden floors, stone walls and exposed beams, whilst offering modern accommodation.

The open plan kitchen/dining/living area will suit all your needs. You can relax in the living area which comes with a wood burning stove, TV and DVD player. The well-equipped kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave, electric oven, hob and a large fridge freezer. A large dining table is perfect for socialising around.

Sleeps six – double bed on the mezzanine, king size bed in the double room and twin bedroom. The bedrooms share a bathroom.

Outside there is a pretty open paddock which is shared with other cottages. The cottage also has its own BBQ and sitting area. A lovely place for a drink or two with friends or family.
