Seagull Cottage in Poughill provides superb self catering accommodation. Our beautifully converted old barn is set within private grounds and has all-weather facilities to enjoy. The charming seaside town of Bude is nearby and further afield you can visit lots of fabulous attractions in Cornwall.

Our cottage has been sympathetically renovated in a tasteful, modern style. The open plan ground floor area will suit all your needs and comes with a lounge/dining area and fully equipped Shaker style kitchen with a cooker, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, cafetiere. The living area is perfect for relaxing in after a day of exploring the area and comes with a large HD flat-screen TV with Freeview, DVD/Blu-ray player and CD/radio player.

Upstairs there are two bedrooms which are fitted to the highest standards. There is a double and a second room with a single and large bunks. Quality cotton bed linen and fluffy cottage hand and bath towels are provided in all the rooms. A small but lovely shower room comes with a power shower.

Outside there is a table, seating and gas BBQ, perfect for al fresco dining with the whole family while the sun is shining.

Onsite we have an array of facilities. We have a heated indoor pool and jacuzzi, spa treatments, heated outdoor pool (seasonal), gym and sauna. We also have activities for children, such as a games room and play areas. A variety of horse-riding experiences are available and we have a tennis court.

Enjoy a relaxed and indulgent in-cottage dining service, prepared by local chef Nicky Vereker, using fresh, local ingredients. Afterward, enjoy a lovely drink and a game of snooker at our licensed bar.

The picturesque seaside town Bude is within walking distance of us. The town has something for everyone, including sandy beaches, Bude Sea Pool, Bude Castle and lots of fantastic restaurants. The whole family can have a memorable time at the Tamar Otter & Wildlife Centre, a lovely place that houses an amazing range of wildlife in its 21 acres of grounds. Within 30 minutes to an hour’s drive, you will find a brilliant range of amazing historic houses to visit, including Prideaux Place, Pencarrow and The Lost Gardens of Heligan.
