Castle View Bed & Breakfast enjoys a peaceful setting on the north slope of the Kensey Valley, offering views over the historic town of Launceston and its impressive castle. Ideally located for exploring Cornwall, our welcoming B&B provides easy access to both the north and south coasts of neighbouring Devon, making it a perfect base for discovering the stunning landscapes, charming towns, and coastal attractions of the South West.

Our guest house has three spacious en suite bedrooms available. All the rooms are comfortable, relaxing and include soft colour bedding and white towels. The whole house is brimming with light and we provide guests with bedroom slippers, Freeview TV, tea and coffee making facilities and a small combination safe.

Room 1: Our most spacious room includes views over Launceston Castle. The room comes with a balcony, a bath with a shower over and a queen-size bed that can be made into a twin.

Room 2: This room has a king-size bed and has garden views. It comes with a shower over the bath.

Room 3: Our ground floor room has a shower room, a queen bed and bunk beds, accommodating 2 adults and 2 children. A small refrigerator is available too.

You can enjoy a great start to the day with a delicious breakfast served in the patio room. This spacious room enjoys garden views and a range of breakfast options are available, including fruit juice, cereals/porridge/toast, a selection of teas, followed by cooked eggs and baked beans.

We also offer our guests the use of our on-site sauna for those that wish to pamper themselves.

There is plenty to do during a visit to this beautiful part of Cornwall. Visit the castle and its stunning grounds, take a ride on the steam railway or visit the museum. Venture to the Tamar Valley and walk high in the treetops or enjoy a wonderful walk. Dartmoor is within half an hour and we are in a really great location for visiting lots of attractions in Cornwall and Devon. Bude, Widemouth and Tintagel approx 30 mins drive. Padstow within an hour’s drive. Further attractions to visit include:
