Cardwen Farm Holiday Cottages in Pelynt offers wonderful self catering accommodation. Based near Looe in a picturesque Cornish setting, we have 2.6 acres of idyllic mature gardens with ponds and a stream.

You can choose from 4 fabulous cottages, nestled in a tranquil setting. All the properties are beautifully furnished and can be booked together for large groups. You will often see our cows and sheep leaning over the fence line, whilst free fresh eggs are available daily from our hens. On the smart TV in each property, you can enjoy the unique experience of watching OWL TV (live linked to a camera in the Barn Owl Box in the roof). We also offer a great start to your holiday, offering a locally baked cream tea and some milk for your arrival.

Erin Cottage - Sleep 4:

This delightful barn conversion comes with stone walls and vaulted ceilings, plus gorgeous views across the garden and countryside. Inside there is a well-equipped kitchen, open plan living area with comfy seating and a smart TV on the upper floor. A double and twin are on the ground floor, with both rooms sharing a bathroom with a shower over the bath. Outside there are two patio areas, including one with a BBQ area for al fresco dining.

Hook Cottage – Sleeps 4:

Our charming barn conversion comes with vaulted ceilings and a master bedroom has a comfy king size bed. Unwind the living area that has a wood burner and a smart TV. A kitchen area comes with a range of appliances for home cooking and a twin room is also available. Outside there is a patio with garden furniture, great for a coffee in the morning sun.

Lily Cottage – Sleeps 6:

This cosy barn conversion offers stone walls and a lovely open plan living space with a smart TV and toasty wood burning stove. A kitchen comes with an array of appliances for home-cooking. A family bathroom, king bedroom, double bedroom with ensuite and double bedroom with two single beds are all on the ground floor. Outside there is a patio area for al fresco dining over a glass of wine.

Cardwen Farmhouse – Sleeps 8:

Our 17th Century stone-built farmhouse is Grade II Listed and brimming with character, covered in gorgeous Wisteria. In total there are 4 bedrooms: 1 king en suite, 1 double en suite and two double rooms. A family bathroom is upstairs and downstairs there is a WC. Cook up a storm in the full-equipped kitchen that comes with granite worktops, large range style electric Stove, American style fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and a farmhouse dining table.

Just 600 yards is our local village of Pelynt, home to the Jubilee Inn, a lovely 16th Century pub, plus 3 village shops. There’s also the ‘The Hive’, a cooperative business where you can have a cup of tea, buy antiques, arts and crafts. You can head to the fishing village of Looe and stroll along the harbour or visit its art galleries and shops. Excellent attractions to visit include:

Looe Valley Vineyard.

Lansallos Beach.

East Looe Beach.

St Catherine's Castle.
