4 Pilots' Cottages is a charming Cornish waterside retreat accommodating up to six people, set in a breathtaking location overlooking the Camel Estuary.

The cottage features an open-plan ground floor with a well-appointed kitchen, dining area and sitting area that opens directly onto a terrace. Cosy up with a wood-burning stove and electric radiators.

Upstairs, you'll find a modern bathroom and three bedrooms: one double, one twin and a third with a double bunk bed comfortably sleeping adults. Amenities include a color TV, DVD player, CD/radio, microwave, washing machine, telephone and internet access. The cottage is comfortably furnished and fully carpeted throughout. The south-facing terrace is sheltered and offers stunning views over the estuary.

Built in the mid-19th century, the cottage is one of six constructed for pilots guiding ships in and out of Padstow Harbour. Situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, it's only a mile and a half from Padstow. At low tide, acres of sand are exposed, while at high tide, you can access the sea through the garden gate or via the slipway at the head of the cove.

Padstow offers excellent shopping facilities and is renowned for its outstanding restaurants. You can walk across the sands to reach Padstow at low tide or take the North Cornish Coastal Path that runs just behind the cottage.

The area boasts first-class sporting amenities, including surfing, water-skiing, kite surfing, sailing, cycling, fishing, riding and golf. Trevose and St Enodoc golf courses are easily accessible. The nearest surfing beach is Trevone, less than a mile away, and the local Harbour Cove beach is among the quietest in Cornwall, considered very safe for bathing. The Camel Trail, an 18-mile cycle path from Padstow to Bodmin Moor, winds through some of Cornwall's most beautiful countryside, with bicycle rentals available. The cliffs behind the cottage offer excellent walking opportunities with panoramic views.
