The 19th Acre - Skylarks & Swallows
Details
The 19th Acre is located along the National Trust coastal pathway between Porthtowan and Chapel Porth, offering a perfect spot for your next Cornish adventure. We have two charming cottages, Swallows and Skylarks, both ideally situated for surfers, walkers, and those looking to explore the beauty of Cornwall. Whether you want to surf at Porthtowan, play golf at Perranporth, or hike the scenic coastal path, you’ll find plenty of activities to share with friends and family.
Skylarks comfortably sleeps 5 guests, with one double bedroom and a second bedroom featuring a bunk bed and single bed. The cottage has a spacious lounge and dining area, lovely countryside views and is fully equipped with a TV, DVD player, washing machine, dishwasher, free Wi-Fi and storage space for surfboards and buggies. There's even an outdoor hose for rinsing wetsuits after a day on the waves.
Swallows is almost identical and sleeps 4, with an option to set up for 5 if needed.
Both cottages share access to a large patio and garden area, perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine or enjoying a game of football or croquet on the lawn. The patio area offers a great space for unwinding.
The cottages are just a 10-minute walk from breathtaking cliff-top views over Chapel Porth’s surfing beach. A pub is within walking distance, and a short drive will take you to the lively bars, cafés and restaurants in Porthtowan, St Agnes, Truro and Mt Hawke. For shopping, Truro offers a variety of local shops, while St Agnes and Porthtowan are ideal for gift hunting or leisurely browsing. Porthtowan Beach is just a 15-minute walk away, crossing the iconic landscapes of 'Poldark' country.
Rates: From £100 - £150 per night, per cottage.
