Little Trethvas is a small, friendly site on the beautiful and unspoiled Lizard Peninsula, offering an ideal base to explore this unique corner of Cornwall. Here, you’ll be perfectly situated to enjoy stunning beaches, scenic coastal and countryside walks, delicious local food and drives through sleepy villages and wooded valleys. For those seeking adventure, horseback rides across the Goonhilly Downs or along the beach are popular and there are idyllic riverside gardens nearby where you can spend a leisurely day.

The site has 29 pitches available, including seven hard-standing electric pitches, extra-large options and spaces for family tents, campervans and large groups. Pitches are family-friendly and pets are welcome for a small fee. Rates vary by pitch type and early booking is recommended for groups wanting adjacent spaces. All rates include access to showers, fridges and a freezer, with phone charging available upon request. Free WiFi is offered throughout the site and the fields, bordered by traditional Cornish hedging, are secure, ensuring peace of mind for families with children and pets.

The centre of the fields are open for children’s play, with ample space for kite flying, cricket and other games. Guests can enjoy warm showers, a dishwashing area and a utility room equipped with a washing machine, fridges, freezer and tourist information. Additional amenities include a washing line, seven hard-standing pitches with electrical hookups, six showers and five toilets. Dedicated to environmental preservation, Little Trethvas allows wildflowers and grasses to flourish around the field edges, creating a welcoming habitat for wildlife and the site is free of light pollution, providing spectacular views of the night sky.

Dogs are welcome, with a few guidelines to ensure harmony with resident free-range bantams, ducks and guinea pigs. Our dog Poppy loves to join guests for walks and is available to accompany you around the site. Children are welcome to meet and cuddle the friendly animals under Liz's supervision including the chickens!
