Boulder Cottage is a charming semi-detached cottage located in the village of Trevone, near Padstow, Cornwall. Trevone Bay is a gently shelving sandy beach, well-known for its iconic Round Hole and popular tidal swimming pool. It is also situated on the South West Coastal Path, making it an ideal location for both seaside holidays and scenic coastal walks. Boulder Cottage offers a perfect retreat for families looking to enjoy a relaxing stay by the sea.

The cottage features a comfortable sitting room, an open-plan kitchen and dining area, three bedrooms, two bathrooms, an outdoor shower and a washroom/utility space. A highlight of the property is its enclosed rear garden, which enjoys plenty of sunshine, a lawn and outdoor seating for al fresco dining. Boulder Cottage is conveniently located within a five-minute walk of Trevone beach, three minutes from the local hotel and pub and just a minute from the Trevone farm shop. Harlyn Bay, renowned for its excellent surfing conditions, is within walking distance along the coast, while a scenic 30-minute stroll across fields leads to Padstow, home to the famous Stein restaurants, charming local shops, a ferry to Rock and access to the Camel Bike Trail.

Upon entering the cottage, guests are welcomed by an enclosed entrance porch with hanging space, leading into a hallway with an understairs cupboard and a staircase to the first floor. The well-equipped kitchen includes a double sink unit, dishwasher, microwave, larder fridge and a built-in hob and oven with an extractor fan. The open-plan dining area features a large extending table with ample seating, a comfortable sofa, and direct access to the garden and terrace. The sitting room is furnished with two large, cosy sofas, an easy chair, a Smart TV with a DVD player and a collection of DVDs for both adults and children. The well-stocked bookshelves offer a selection of novels, local interest books, and maps. For warmth and comfort, the cottage has gas-fired central heating and a log burner in the sitting room for colder evenings.

Upstairs, there are three well-appointed bedrooms. The front master bedroom boasts a king-size 5' double bed, a sofa, a built-in wardrobe, and a chest of drawers. There is also space for a cot and a child’s bed, both of which are provided. The second bedroom features a standard 4'6" double bed, a chest of drawers and a glimpse of the sea. The third bedroom, which includes an en-suite bathroom with a bath, basin and WC, is designed with adult-sized 3' bunk beds, a sofa, a built-in wardrobe, a chest of drawers and another sea glimpse. It also has space for a cot or an extra child’s bed, both of which are supplied. A spacious family shower room with a walk-in shower, wash basin and WC completes the upstairs layout.

The separate laundry room contains a sink, additional fridge-freezer space and a washing machine, along with an outdoor WC with a basin. The laundry room is also stocked with a variety of beach essentials, including wetsuits in various sizes, wave boards, buckets and spades, windbreaks and beach games, making packing for the trip much easier. For families, Boulder Cottage is well-equipped with a cot, high chair, stair gate and plenty of child-friendly dining essentials, including plastic cups, plates and cutlery. The cottage also offers a selection of toys, Lego, puzzles and children’s books.

One of Boulder Cottage’s most attractive features is its sunny, enclosed garden, which offers a peaceful and private outdoor space. It includes ample seating, a terrace, a small lawn with flower borders and an undercover storage area for bikes, boards and buggies. A hot outdoor shower is available for rinsing off after a day at the beach.

Parking is available on the road outside the cottage, with additional parking space around the corner towards the Well Parc. The nearby Well Parc Inn also offers parking at reasonable rates.
