Guests have had the most fun at the Old Vicarage when they have booked the whole house for a three night weekend. We have had wedding groups, birthday and anniversary celebrations. We turn Vicarage Cottage and the Old Vicarage back into one house. This offers six bedrooms and three bathrooms for up to twelve guests. You also have your own lounge. We also have an additional self catering holiday cottage available.

Breakfast is included within your room rate and is served from 8 am to 9 am. An earlier breakfast can be arranged, please do let us know if you require an early start. We pride ourselves on everything that we serve as it is either homemade or locally sourced.

Kenton is a small village on the A379 halfway between Exeter and Dawlish. For such a small village it boasts a magnificent church, a village shop and post office, two hairdressers and three eating places. A short drive or bus ride south will take you to Dawlish or Teignmouth. Famous for its black swans, the picturesque centre of Dawlish looks like a country village. It is a traditional seaside resort with red sandstone cliffs overlooking a sandy beach. If you get the chance, take a train to or from the town, as the railway runs right alongside the seafront – a particularly dramatic ride especially in the winter. Close to the town centre is the much livelier Dawlish Warren with its assortment of amusements and children’s rides. It also has with miles of sandy beaches and a nature reserve which has a variety of small mammals, birds, reptiles and insects throughout the year.
