Higher Scarsick Cottage offers delightful self catering accommodation in Launceston, Cornwall. We are based on a working dairy and sheep farm, nestled amongst the peace and tranquillity of the beautiful Cornish countryside.

Our charming cottage has been tastefully renovated over recent years and has retained many original features, including oak beams and a deep inglenook fireplace whilst offering modern facilities.

Relax in the cosy sitting room which comes with comfy seating, a TV, a DVD player and board games. A well-equipped kitchen/diner comes with a range of appliances: an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave. Enjoy some home-cooked food around the dining table that seats 6 people.

The accommodation sleeps up to 6 people (plus a cot if required) in 1 super king-size room, 1 double en suite room and a twin room. The double room enjoys countryside views and a family bathroom comes with a walk-in shower.

Step outside to a large garden where you can hear the birds singing and enjoy the stunning views. A short walk down the lane will take you to a small stream which is particularly beautiful in the spring and autumn. Garden furniture is ideal for al fresco dining in the afternoon sun.

Only 10 miles is the picturesque town of Launceston, nestled on the banks of the Tamar River. The town is home to lots of restaurants, shops and cafes. You can enjoy a variety of scenic walking and cycling routes or take a trip on the Launceston Steam Railway.
