The Tamar Valley Cottages are situated in the beautiful grounds of North Tamerton’s old rectory and are perfect for couples or a group of friends & family that are looking to explore this stunning and rural area of Devon. Our holiday cottages have panoramic views of unspoiled countryside and towards Dartmoor.

The approach to the holiday cottages is down a path beside the main house. On arrival, guests are welcome to park nearer the house for unloading but on a daily basis, guests are requested to use the parking bays off the driveway. We have 4 cottages and the largest sleeps 9.

Tamar Valley Cottages provide an ideal holiday base for couples and families with easy access to evocative villages such as Clovelly, Port Isaac, Tintagel and Padstow. Explore slightly further afield and you will find the possibilities are endless –beautiful National Trust houses and gardens, the picturesque Fowey estuary, the wonderful art galleries of St. Ives and with a wide variety of children’s parks and activities you will be sure to find something for everybody.

There is plenty to do whether it be exploring the traditional market towns of Holsworthy, Launceston and Tavistock, walking and cycling the various coastal paths, Ruby, Camel and Tarka trails, or just relaxing on the numerous unspoilt sandy beaches. You can be sure to enjoy some of the finest local produce and hospitality in the country. The North Cornwall coast has some of the most breath taking and dramatic coastline in the country thanks to the rock formations and the surrounding rugged cliffs. Surfing is popular on this coastline as is beachcombing, rock pooling and wildlife watching. Relax and enjoy the sun or explore the rock pools on the numerous award winning beaches in the area.

3 or 4 nights 70% of the weekly rate

5 nights 85% of the weekly rate

6 nights 90% of the weekly rate.

Pets welcome £10 per stay per pet.
