Oakleigh House B&B offers charming accommodation in Newcastle, County Down. We are perfect for visiting the stunning Mourne Mountains and the gorgeous south Down coast.

We specialise in providing quality bed and breakfast accommodation for couples, single travellers and small groups of up to six guests. We have three en suite rooms with power showers. Two rooms have double beds and the other has two single beds. All rooms can be reserved with single occupancy.

All rooms have rural views central heating and TV. A hairdryer, washing and ironing facilities are available on request. Tea, chocolate and coffee facilities are always available for use in the room or in the sunroom overlooking the Mourne Mountains.

The rooms are on the ground floor in an annexe adjacent to the house with its own private entrance so guests can come and go as they please. A choice of breakfast menu is offered and is served between 8am and 10am. All hot food is cooked to order and we use free range and local produce where possible.

Oakleigh House is only a short distance from The Royal County Down Golf Club with its 18 hole Championship course, one of the world's top ten links and there are many other scenic courses with tree lined fairways awaiting our visitors to this area. For those visitors wishing to walk through this lovely county we have The Mourne Mountains with the highest peak of Slieve Donard overlooking Newcastle bay and Tollymore Park with its many trails and tracks.

Learn to climb on Hotrock at the Tollymore Mountain Centre. Horse riding trips through the hills, parks and beaches are easily arranged for novices and more experienced riders. Sailing, and outdoor pursuits are all available in this area.
