Barnwell Farm Cottages are situated off a quiet country road in the heart of the Ards Peninsula, just one mile from Strangford Lough at Greyabbey and two miles from the picturesque Irish Sea coast. This tranquil location offers the perfect retreat for those seeking peace and the charm of rural Northern Ireland.

We have sympathetically restored the farmhouse and courtyard, which have been converted into seven self-catering cottages. These can be booked individually or together, making them ideal for family gatherings or group holidays. The restoration preserves the character of the original buildings while providing modern comforts.

Each cottage is equipped with a range of amenities to enhance your stay. Facilities include a fully equipped laundry room, a large games and function room, and individual patio areas complete with patio furniture and gas barbecues. Inside, you’ll find modern conveniences such as digital satellite TV, video, CD/radio, mobile phones, dishwashers and microwave ovens. A complimentary "Starter Pack" is provided in all cottages and a laundry service can be arranged upon request by contacting the owners.

The large games and function room is a versatile space designed to make guests feel at home. It is equipped with a kitchen and provides a comfortable setting to read, play games, or relax with a cup of tea. To keep younger guests entertained, a variety of games are available and for families with small children, amenities such as a cot, highchair, bath and baby alarm are provided on-site.

Over Christmas and the New Year our cottages are warm and cosy. Each cottage is decorated for the festive season that helps make your Christmas break even more special.
