The guest house is within driving distance of the famous Hadrian's Wall and the Pencil Museum. The area is great for walking with many routes available right from the doorstep as well as the Cumbria Way and the Allerdale Ramble which both pass through the area.
Guests can enjoy trying out some water sports which include sailing, canoeing, windsurfing, rowing and fishing. All of the equipment you will need for these activities can be hired in the area.
