Tarn Hows, Coniston, Cumbria, Lake District National Park
Tarn House is a bespoke, self catering holiday home that is located in a beautiful part of the Lake District National Park. It is just a short stroll from the local amenities in Coniston and is a cosy retreat for couples or a family who want a relaxing break away to Cumbria.
The holiday apartment has a homely feel and is centrally heated for your comfort. There is also an additional electric wood burning/log effect fire in the lounge. The kitchen is well appointed and has an electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer as well as ample amounts of cutlery and crockery.
There are 2 bedrooms at the self catering, the first is a standard four poster double bed and the second is a super king size double bed, both of which are made up ready for your arrival.
Outside of the apartment is a garden area to sit out in.
We also have a second holiday home available called Yewdale Crags which can sleep 4 in a double and twin room. The twin is a Beatrix Potter theme.
Coniston is situated in the heart of the Lake District and is a haven for walkers and climbers, with something to suite everyone, from quiet walks through woodland to long ridge walks, and the ‘classic’ rock climbing routes on Dow Crags. The holiday home is situated just a short walk from Coniston village and Coniston Old Man Horseshoe.
