Forest Field Cottage offers very comfortable self catering accommodation in Colton in the Rusland Valley near to Ulverston. Nestled in lovely countryside in a quiet corner of the National Park, it is perfect for an idyllic holiday in Cumbria.

The cottage is designed for two adults and is down a peaceful country lane.

Inside the property is a sitting room with easy chairs, a dining area, TV ,a DVD player and plenty of reading material so is ideal for relaxing whilst admiring the stunning views over the garden and the countryside beyond.

The kitchen is contained within the living room with access through double doors so they can be shut when not in use. It has a double ceramic hob and oven.

There is also fridge with freezer compartment and microwave oven.

In a separate laundry room is a washing machine and tumble drier and a small additional freezer.

Outside the cottage there is an enclosed terrace with table and chairs to catch the morning sun.

There is a large garden to explore and have afternoon tea ,perhaps, in the summer house? The view from there is of the pond and the wildlife around and about.

There is a welcome pack of tea, coffee and biscuits and bread from a local bakery.

Whilst staying at Forest Field Cottage you can just relax, do the local walks or go further afield to visit the Lakes and the museums, the local steam trains etc. We have the walkers and cycling signs so welcome people wanting to pursue those activities.
