Our hotel has a range of elegant and luxurious bedrooms available, including some with opulent four-poster beds. Most of our rooms boast magical views over the soaring fells or lush woodland. Our standard rooms come as either a twin or double and include a comfy bed, a small en suite and limited views.

For a truly lavish experience, you can stay in our superior rooms, the bests rooms at the hotel. The large rooms include gorgeous feature beds, superb bathrooms and big windows with comfortable seats in front which take advantage of the delightful view. In the grounds we also have the woodland suite, a cottage which is great for families.

While staying with us you can savour a delicious meal at the Badger Bar, a historic 400-year-old inn. From snacks to pub classics, we have something for all tastes. All our food is made with love and care using locally sourced foods and seasonal ingredients. In the evening you can look forward to huge fish and chips, flavorsome curries, burgers, Cumberland sausage and much more. We also serve the best pub roast on a Sunday.

The Bar offers toasty log fires, real ales, great good and a relaxing atmosphere. We always have at least 4 locally brewed real ales and 30 whiskies to choose from. You can also relax in the sun in one of our two beer gardens.
