Heather Cottage - Sleeps 4-6

Heather Cottage, one of our largest and original cottages, offers stunning views over Talkin Head Farm. The open-plan kitchen, dining and living area opens onto a wooden balcony. Downstairs features a master bedroom with an en-suite and beautiful views, while upstairs, two cosy family bedrooms with built-in bunk beds sit tucked into the eaves. Private access to the shared garden completes this charming cottage.

Hawthorn Cottage - Sleeps 4-6

Offering views over Talkin Head Farm and the surrounding countryside, this cottage features a spacious open-plan kitchen, dining and living area that opens onto a stone patio in the shared garden. The master bedroom, located downstairs with stunning farm views, includes an en-suite. Upstairs, two cosy family rooms tucked into the eaves feature quirky built-in bunk beds. Outside, enjoy private access to the shared garden with an additional patio and seating area.

Bracken Cottage & Bramble Cottage - Both sleep 2-4

These two cottages are both two-bedroomed and situated in the heart of Long Byres, offering lovely views of the garden and surrounding countryside. They both feature a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a family bathroom. Upstairs, you'll find a comfortable open-plan kitchen, dining area and living room.

Ash Cottage & Alder Cottage - Both sleep 2

Ash Cottage & Alder Cottage are one-bedroom cottages, ideal for individuals or couples. Situated in the heart of Long Byres, it boasts stunning views of the surrounding hills. The cottages feature a comfortable kitchen/living area, a double bedroom and a bathroom. Please note, these cottages have steep stairs.

Visiting the Area

We are close to an array of attractions, perfect for the whole family. Enjoy strolling around the scenic Lake District or the ancient woodland at Talkin Tarn Country Park. Children will love visiting The Talkin Adventures Activity Centre which is just 2 miles away from us, home to archery, kayaking and stand up paddle boarding You can also visit Lowther Castle, an 18th Century gothic castle with grounds set over 130 acres.
