Osprey Cottages in Grasmere offers self catering accommodation in 3 cottages and a studio. Based in a scenic location in Cumbria, we are perfect for a relaxing and tranquil holiday.
All of our accommodation is elegantly furnished and comes with everything you need for a luxurious holiday. A bonus is the added feature of being able to walk straight from your property into the surrounding hills and fells.
Osprey Cottage - Sleeps 4
This cottage has a high-quality kitchen which comes with a range of facilities to suit all your needs. Unwind the cosy sitting room which comes with two three-seater sofas, two occasional chairs and a toasty wood burner. French doors open onto a delightful garden. Both bedrooms come with sumptuous king size beds with quality bed linen and towels provided. A separate downstairs toilet and utility room are also available. The garden comes with a rattan set of garden furniture, ideal for al fresco dining whilst the sun is shining.
Osprey Nest - Sleeps 2
Our self catering studio is ideal for a romantic getaway. Enter from the timber patio through the French doors into the relaxing open plan space. The well-equipped includes an oven, dishwasher fridge/freezer and plenty of working surface. Unwind in the living area which comes with a two-seater sofa, large flat screen TV and a king-sized bed, plus a modern en suite shower room. A sun terrace with a table and chairs makes a fantastic spot for a morning coffee.
Teal Nook – Sleeps 2
The open plan living area comes with a wood burner for the winter months, a well-equipped kitchen and downstairs shower room. The bedroom comes with a luxurious king size bed, with doors opening onto a balcony area which offers glorious views up to the fells.
We also offer Teal Beck, a luxurious King Room for one person in our Bed & Breakfast with stunning views of the surrounding Fells.
The local area has an abundance of stunning walks and cycle routes to enjoy, making us a haven for outdoor lovers. In the quaint village of Grasemere you can savour some amazing food at Forest Side, a Michelin star restaurant. You can also head to the Jumble Rooms or Lewis’s Bistro for some more tasty food. Visit Dove Cottage, the home of the poet William Wordsworth and his sister Dorothy Wordsworth. Nearby you can also explore Grizedale Forest, which offers great activities at Go Ape and enjoy a relaxed meal after at the Grizedale Cafe. Further attractions to visit include:
