Sandbed Cottage offers self catering accommodation at Fell End, set in a scenic part of the Upper Eden Valley, a region of outstanding natural beauty in the stunning Yorkshire Dales National Park. Based near Ravenstonedale amidst rolling Cumbrian fells, we are ideal for a tranquil country retreat.

Our stone-built cottage is surrounded by the Howgill Fells and boasts a spectacular view of the countryside. The cottage has been refurbished to a high standard and offers lovely features throughout, including exposed beams, stonework and a flagged floor.

Unwind in the cosy open plan living area which includes a toasty log burner, Wi-Fi, TV and DVD player. Rustle up some fantastic food in the fully-equipped kitchen which includes a full range of appliances. A stone windowsill offers views of the bird feeders and French doors open onto a secluded patio area that enjoys lovely views.

Upstairs is reached by a handmade oak and wrought iron staircase which leads to a relaxing gallery area with seating. Off the sitting area are two beautiful bedrooms, 1 king room and 1 twin room. Both rooms include Egyptian cotton linen and offer superb views of the woods and fells. The bedrooms share a shower room.

Outside in the garden there are seating areas and a BBQ for al fresco dining whilst savouring your surroundings.

This part of the country has an abundance of natural beauty to enjoy. Walk around The Howgills and admire the scenery or cycle along one of the many scenic cycle routes. Play a round at the Riverside Golf Course or fish for trout at the River Eden and Belah. You can also enjoy horse riding up the valley or enjoy a train ride on the Settle-Carlisle Railway which goes through some of the most amazing scenery in the country.
