Eskmeals House offers outstanding self catering accommodation in Eskmeals. Our gorgeous Georgian holiday home near Ravenglass in Cumbria is perfect for families or groups looking for somewhere special to stay.

We are in a fantastic position, set in private grounds which include seven acres of woods, lawns, natural area and a walled garden. Our property is great for hen/stag parties and anniversary parties looking for a unique property.

On the ground floor, there is cosy front lounge with a lovely fireplace including a multi-fuel stove, seating and delightful views over the garden. You can also unwind in the magnificent drawing room which has seating, Freeview TV, a DVD player, iPod docking music centre, fireplace with a stove and big window.

Cook up a storm in the well-equipped kitchen which has an electric range cooker, two ovens, a grill, microwave, dishwasher, large fridge and plenty of glasses. Enjoy a morning coffee in the breakfast room or savour some delicious meals in the elegant dining room which comes complete with an inglenook fireplace. On the ground floor, there is also a WC.

On the first floor is a twin room, king en suite room, king room with a basin, family en suite room and a further family room. A shower room is also available. The attic houses two double bedrooms and a family room. The south wing includes a king room with a gorgeous Victorian fireplace and a bathroom.

Outside you can enjoy our stunning grounds and enjoy some al fresco dining whilst savouring your surroundings. A gas BBQ is provided.

We are nestled in a great position in the Lake District National park and just under a mile away is the beach and Irish sea. You can visit the quaint village of Ravenglass or Muncaster and its majestic castle. Take a magical ride on the Eskdale Steam Railway. Further attractions to visit include:
