Our magnificent historic property was burnt down in the fire of Nantwich in 1583 and quickly rebuilt by Queen Elizabeth. The recently refurbished hotel retains many original features, including oak beams, wattle and daub walls and roaring fires, plus lots of modern facilities.

We have 18 beautiful en suite rooms available, all boasting an individual character and charm. All the rooms blend modern essentials with historic features, offering free Wi-Fi, a fully stocked tea tray and complimentary toiletries.

In the morning, you can look forward to a tasty continental breakfast box that includes pastries, fresh orange juice, a piece of fresh fruit, a takeaway coffee/teacup, some milk, and a yoghurt for £8.95. A brunch menu on Saturdays and Sundays are also available.

The new Crown Bar & Grill offers a fabulous place for great food and refreshing drinks. The menu places a strong emphasis on local Cheshire, North Wales and regional produce. From succulent steaks to haddock battered in Shropshire Ale, we have something for everyone. The bar offers an array of quality wines and beers, plus outstanding craft beers.
