Castle Guards Farm Retreat Glamping Pods offers fabulous accommodation in Bridekirk, based in a scenic Cumbrian setting. Based near Cockermouth in a tranquil area, we are the perfect place to escape from the pressures of modern life.

Our 4 gorgeous pods are perfect for a magical country getaway. The pods are beautifully furnished and nestled in a secluded private valley. They are based on a private track on a working farm, great for a relaxing holiday.

Four pods are available, Highmoor, Corn Cake, Tarnities and The Roans. All the pods sleep 6 people in a double, twin and 2 bunk beds. The beds come with quality bedding and towels, whilst a power shower is also available.

Facilities include a smart Freeview TV, underfloor heating, miracle, kettle, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, hob, toaster, crockery/utensils, and dining table with 6 chairs. Outside there is a picnic table and BBQ for al fresco dining whilst savouring the setting. You can soak away your troubles in the luxurious hot tub.

We offer brilliant access to the heart of the lake and the coast. The site is at the start of the National Cycle Route 10, connecting Cockermouth to North Shields via the Kielder Forest and Carlisle. Superb attractions to visit include:
