Castle Guards Farm Retreat Glamping Pods offers glamping accommodation in Bridekirk, set within a scenic Cumbrian landscape. Situated near Cockermouth in a peaceful countryside location, it’s the ideal place to unwind and escape the pressures of modern life. Our four pods are perfect for a cosy rural break, situated in a secluded private valley on a working farm and accessed via a private track, creating a relaxing retreat.

Four pods are available, Highmoor, Corn Cake, Tarnities and The Roans. All the pods sleep 6 people in a double, twin and 2 bunk beds. The beds come with quality bedding and towels, whilst a power shower is also available.

Facilities include a smart Freeview TV, underfloor heating, miracle, kettle, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, hob, toaster, crockery/utensils, and dining table with 6 chairs. Outside there is a picnic table and BBQ for al fresco dining whilst savouring the setting. You can soak away your troubles in the luxurious hot tub.

We offer access to the heart of the lake and the coast. The site is at the start of the National Cycle Route 10, connecting Cockermouth to North Shields via the Kielder Forest and Carlisle. Attractions to visit include:
