Eskdale Cottages - Green Gate Cottage & Damson Cottage offers superb self catering accommodation in Eskdale. Based near Holmrook in a beautiful area of Cumbria, we are the perfect place to escape from the pressures of modern life.

We have two cottages to choose from, Green Gate Cottage and Damson Cottage. Both offer quality features and come with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Damson Cottage enjoys views of the Eskdale Valley and Muncaster Fell.

The cottages are child friendly and we can offer a box of age-specific toys, books and children’s DVDs. Outside each cottage, there is a garden with seating to unwind in over a glass or two. Each cottage comes with 100% Egyptian cotton, Egyptian percale bedding and sumptuous towels. The cottages have a separate laundry with a separate front loader washer and dryer and a separate large load top loader washer and dryer.

Greengate Cottage

Our cottage sleeps up to 4 people on the same floor, including 1 double room and 1 room with 2 singles. Only 10 metres away there is parking. Opposite there is a walled garden to unwind in.

Damson Cottage

This cottage sleeps 4 in 1 downstairs bedroom with 2 singles and an upstairs super king room. Next to the cottage is a covered garage and 20 metres away there is more parking. Next to the cottage is a walled garden which acts at the perfect sun trap.

You can discover all that the local area has to offer whilst staying with us. Enjoy beautiful walks at Scafell, the Roman Fort at Hardknott Pass and Bunrmoor Tarn. The rivers offer canoeing, fishing and swimming. Attractions to visit include:
