Lake District Holiday Cottages – Sandown offers fabulous self catering accommodation on the outskirts of Bowness-on-Windermere. Our Cumbrian property is only a 5-minute walk to Lake Windermere and the village centre.

Our large property sleeps up to 7 people and is beautifully furnished throughout. The property is an upside-down home and great for a family or group holiday. We provide a welcome hamper.

On the first floor is a comfy lounge with seating, a wall-mounted TV, board games, cards, books and toys. The dining room offers seating for a large family and there is a high chair.

The fully equipped kitchen/utility/cloak/washroom with a hob, double oven, microwave, large fridge/freezer and separate fridge, bread maker, dishwasher and washing machine.

On the ground floor, there are 4 bedrooms, including 3 double en suite rooms and a single en suite room. All the rooms have a TV and we can provide a travel cot.

Outside we have a patio area with a table, chairs and BBQ for al fresco dining.

Whilst staying with us you can explore the local area. In Windermere, there are specialist & boutique shops, tea shops, wine bars, pubs and restaurants. Take a trip around Lake Windermere or have lots of fun at Go Ape. Attractions to visit include:
