Townfoot Barn offers fantastic self catering accommodation in the hamlet of Troutbeck. We are based in a picturesque hillside setting near Windermere and ideally placed for exploring Cumbria.

Our luxury barn sleeps up to 2 people and enjoys views over Troutbeck Valley, perfect for a romantic getaway. The barn is well-equipped throughout and is EV friendly.

On the ground floor, there is a fully equipped kitchen with granite worktops and range of Bosch or Neff appliances: fridge/freezer, dishwasher, induction hob, fan-assisted oven, and Nespresso coffee pod machine and microwave. Off the kitchen is a laundry/cloakroom.

The living space is on the first floor and includes a Sony 4KTV with Chromecast and Apple Airplay, a Blu-ray player, Bluetooth sound-bar. This is a lovely space to unwind whilst enjoying the valley views.

We have a bedroom with a king-size bed and an ensuite bathroom with a monsoon shower over the bath. From the bedroom, there is a balcony door leading to an iron-railed stone staircase.

Outside we have a small patio garden area and another decked patio with a table, chairs and BBQ.

We offer complimentary access to a local health club only 5 minutes away.

Our barn is in a great position for exploring the local area. In the village, there is a tea room, 2 pubs, and a village shop. Only 10 minutes from us are Lake Windermere and the Kirkstone Pass. Attractions to visit include:
