Our cottage is nestled within the garden of Tithe Barn, based in a peaceful countryside setting. You have use of an award-winning garden, winner of a Gold Award in the Cumbria in Bloom in the 2022 competition and a Silver Gilt Award for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Special Award. The magical garden includes stone walls, grottos and water, plus lots of seating areas.

The newly converted cottage offers lots of character and comes with a range of facilities to suit your needs. On the ground floor, there is a well-equipped kitchen with an integrated fridge with a freezer compartment, electric cooker, dishwasher, hob and extractor fan and a microwave oven. There is a breakfast bar with a padded stool. The ground-floor shower room has a walk-in shower.

Upstairs we have a living area to relax in after a day sightseeing. There is seating, a coffee table, a TV, a DVD player and a flame-effect electric stove. The sleeping area includes a king-size bed.

You can enjoy lots of attractions whilst staying with us. Visit Hadrian’s Wall, with Birdoswald Roman Fort just a few miles away. Explore the North Pennines or visit Gretna Green and its renowned Blacksmiths Shop. Attractions to visit include:
