Black Beck Farm Glamping is situated on a small, family-run farm in the peaceful village of Bouth, situated just south of Grizedale Forest in the heart of the Lake District. Surrounded by fields, fells, and woodland, and positioned between Lake Windermere and Coniston Water, Bouth provides a serene and tranquil escape within England’s largest National Park.

Glamping Lodges

Our bespoke Glamping Lodges comfortably accommodate a family of five and are Pet Friendly, featuring an indoor barbecue. Red Deer Lodge & Roe Deer Lodge boast picturesque views of open countryside. Each lodge includes a full-sized double bed with a luxury memory foam mattress and a separate area with three fold-out single beds suitable for younger children. Outside, enjoy a picnic table alongside a fabulous barbecue (charcoal, fire lighters and matches not provided). Updated amenities now include electric lights, sockets and USB points. Up to two dogs are welcome and parking is conveniently located next to your lodge. Nearby facilities include toilets, showers and a wash-up area. For your stay, pack essentials like cutlery, crockery and bedding, while leaving the tent at home. Feel free to bring an ice box; we can freeze your ice packs upon request. Additionally, reserve a nearby area for family and friends with tents or touring caravans. Dogs are welcome, with a maximum of two per stay, £5 per night, per dog.

Bow Top Glamping

Experience a unique camping getaway in our 1960's Bow Top Caravan situated in its own quiet corner of our campsite. Enjoy peace and stunning countryside views while cosying up in our caravan, which comfortably sleeps two in a traditional extending double bed. Stay warm with a Queen Anne wood-burning stove (wood provided), perfect for relaxation away from life's everyday pressures. Outside, there's a deck with panoramic views, a designated BBQ area and log seating. Facilities including showers, toilets and a wash-up area are conveniently located nearby. Electric points are available for your convenience. Pack as you would for tent camping, including cutlery, crockery and bedding (ice boxes welcome; we can freeze your ice packs). Dogs are welcome, with a maximum of two per stay, £5 per night, per dog.

Shepherd's Hut

Escape and unwind in our peaceful Shepherds Hut with its breathtaking countryside views. Perfect for a relaxing weekend or extended getaway, our hut comfortably accommodates 2 adults with a cosy wood-burning stove (wood provided), a comfortable full-sized double bed, table, chairs and ample cupboard space inside. A gated decking area at the front welcomes up to 2 well-behaved dogs. Enjoy your own BBQ outside, with nearby toilet, shower facilities and a wash-up area. Electric points in the washrooms are available for your convenience. Pack as you would for tent camping, but without the tent, bring your cutlery, crockery, bedding and feel free to bring your own ice box (we'll freeze your ice packs). Maximum of 2 dogs, £5 per night, per dog.

The Area

Within a 5-minute walk (1/4 mile), discover the White Hart Inn, a lively village hub renowned for its excellent bar and restaurant meals and top-notch Real Ales. Relax with a summer evening drink on the Village Green and Play Area right by the inn. Ulverston, a market town boasting bars, restaurants, takeaways, a cinema, and supermarkets, is just 5 miles away. Larger towns such as Barrow In Furness, Kendal and Lancaster are also within easy reach. There is plenty to see and do in the area, including:
