Coomb View - Sleeps 4

Coomb View is situated in a tranquil rural setting on our 100-acre farm, just six miles northeast of Kendal and close to the M6 junction. The living area on the first floor offers comfortable leather sofas, a wall-mounted TV and a gas fire, with literature and maps provided for planning outings. The sleek black high gloss kitchen, also on the first floor, features a central island with panoramic countryside views and is fully equipped for convenience. The dining area overlooks a herb garden with a local slate water feature and seats four guests. On the ground floor, two bedrooms have patio access to a scenic outdoor seating area. Bedroom One has a double bed and fitted wardrobe, while Bedroom Two can be arranged as a Kingsize or Twin room. The luxurious family bathroom includes a walk-in shower and a luxury roll top bath, with underfloor heating for added comfort. Outside, a private patio with table, chairs and a BBQ invites outdoor dining, while adjacent large lawns, a country garden and private parking complete the serene setting. This rural retreat is perfect for two families or multi-generational groups seeking a peaceful break amidst the beauty of the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales. The modern Kitchen/Diner features a well-equipped kitchen with a central island, including a range cooker and Smeg fridge. A spacious dining area leads to a vaulted living space with lounge seating and a large smart TV, overlooking the country garden through patio doors. Adjacent, the Laundry and Boot Room offers a full-height freezer, washing machine and access to a herb-stocked courtyard. The snug room, part of the original farmhouse, dates back to 1729 and boasts original features like oak beams and window seats, heated by radiators and a wood burner. It provides a cosy retreat and has a smart TV. Sandbeds offers five bedrooms, a ground floor Superking/Twin with a courtyard view and accessible shower room. Upstairs, Bedroom One offers a Superking/Twin, Bedroom Two a cosy double, Bedroom Three a Kingsize with modern décor and Bedroom Four an antique French-themed room with field views. Enjoy two fully fitted bathrooms upstairs and a downstairs shower room for flexibility. Outside, explore the herbaceous garden, patio with BBQ, spacious lawn and herb-filled courtyard.
