Melbreak House is perfectly located in a quiet neighborhood near the heart of Keswick, offering two self catering properties. It’s ideally positioned in the centre of the Lake District, with easy access to the town centre, local parks and the delightful Theatre by the Lake.

Melbreak One

As you park roadside, take a moment to enjoy the stunning views of the Lake District National Park before stepping into your three-storey home-away-from-home. The ground floor features a fully-equipped kitchen/diner with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, perfect for preparing meals, and a cosy sitting room with a Smart TV for evening entertainment. Upstairs, you'll find four beautifully decorated bedrooms. The first floor offers two elegant double bedrooms, both with en-suite walk-in showers. On the second floor, there’s another double bedroom and a twin bedroom, each with their own en-suite facilities.

Upon entering, you'll find a spacious kitchen/diner with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, kettle, toaster and a dining area perfect for enjoying breakfast or dinner together. Adjacent is a bright, welcoming sitting room with a Smart TV, bathed in natural light from double-aspect windows. The property features four beautifully presented bedrooms, each with its own en-suite facilities, including walk-in showers. On the first floor are a king-size bedroom and a twin room, while the second floor offers two more double bedrooms, all tastefully decorated. Outside, a non-enclosed patio with a picnic bench provides the perfect spot for alfresco dining or relaxing with a book in the sun.

For local exploration, step out on foot to discover the charming town of Keswick. Enjoy its traditional market, browse independent shops and take a stroll along Derwentwater Lake or the River Greta. Afterward, savour local cuisine while enjoying scenic views. For more Lake District beauty, visit Bassenthwaite Lake or take a scenic boat trip to Ullswater. You can also explore Cockermouth, the former home of poet William Wordsworth. Further afield, Ambleside offers attractions like the Roman Fort and Stagshaw Gardens, or visit Windermere for water sports, guided hikes and the World of Beatrix Potter attraction.
