Families can visit Muncaster Castle or take a ride on the Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway, while keen walkers have easy access to Scafell Pike, located at the far end of the Wasdale Valley. The wide, open stretch of Seascale beach offers space for all ages, including dogs. Nearby activities include golf, horse riding and dining at excellent local restaurants. The owner can arrange hampers of locally sourced meat, dairy and vegetables to be ready on arrival and guests are welcome to request a pre-arranged farm tour. The beach is three miles away and a shop, pub and restaurant can be found within half a mile.
