Perfectly located to explore the Lake District’s attractions, each cabin features high-quality self-catering accommodation, exposed timbers and log-burning stoves, combining rustic charm with homely comfort.

Damson Cabin

Damson Cabin features a split-level open-plan living area with a log-burning stove, dining space and fitted kitchen, creating a spacious yet cosy atmosphere perfect for romantic retreats or family holidays. It accommodates four guests in two luxurious king-size bedrooms, one of which can be converted to a twin, with a cot, high chair and baby bath available on request. The well-equipped kitchen includes a fridge, freezer, dishwasher, gas hob, oven and microwave, along with a welcome pack. A roll-top bath with an overhead shower, heated towel rail and shared laundry facilities enhance convenience. The large terrace offers stunning garden views, barbecue facilities and a relaxing space for al fresco dining. Access includes a slope, steps to the porch, and the garden terrace.

Pear Tree Cabin

Pear Tree Cabin offers a cosy yet spacious split-level open-plan living area with a log-burning stove, dining space and fitted kitchen. It features two king-size bedrooms, one convertible to a twin, sleeping four, with a cot, high chair and baby bath available on request. The kitchen includes a fridge, small freezer, dishwasher, gas hob, oven and microwave, complemented by a welcome pack. A bathroom with a standalone shower, heated towel rail and shared laundry facilities nearby adds convenience. The large terrace, accessed via a slope and steps, is perfect for al fresco dining or enjoying garden views, complete with barbecue facilities.

Blackberry Landing

Blackberry Landing, our first oak-framed cabin, offers a cosy retreat with stunning views of Southern Cumbria. Designed for small-scale living, it features a fully glazed front, allowing you to relax by the log-burning stove while taking in the scenery. Ideal for two, it includes a king-size cubby bed and two single bunks for children. A nearby utility building provides shared laundry facilities and an outdoor dining table lets you savour the breathtaking views after a day of exploring.

Guardswood Cabin

Guardswood Cabin offers an open-plan living area with a log-burning stove, dining space and fitted kitchen. Accommodating up to six guests in three super king bedrooms, two of which can be configured as twins, the cabin also provides cots, a high chair and a baby bath on request. The kitchen includes a double fridge, freezer, dishwasher, range-style hob/oven, microwave and all essentials, plus a welcome pack. Bathrooms feature a sumptuous bath, standalone showers and heated towel rails, with an ensuite for the master bedroom. A large terrace with garden views and BBQ facilities is perfect for outdoor dining. The cabin is set on one level with three steps to the entrance. Shared laundry facilities are nearby.

Visiting the Area

Newland Valley log cabins are ideally situated for exploring Cumbria and the beautiful Lake District national park. Both Lake Windermere and Coniston Water are a short drive away and Ulverston, Hawkshead, Ambleside and Coniston are all within easy reach. You could explore the breathtaking Langdale Pikes, take a stroll around the beautiful Tarn Hows, visit Peter Rabbit and friends in Bowness, or take in the views on a boat trip on your favourite lake. Perhaps you’d prefer to ride on a steam train at Lakeside and Haverthwaite railway, go tree trekking in Grizedale Forest, climb Scafell Pike, or visit one of the many National Trust properties nearby. Or, if that all sounds too energetic, why not enjoy a cream tea in one of the many pretty Lakeland villages, or simply grab a book and a coffee and enjoy the views from your terrace.
