Shepherd's Hideaway offers outstanding glamping accommodation in Pen y Banc near Waen. Located in a glorious countryside setting in Denbighshire, we are a true haven for outdoor enthusiasts.

Our 4 huts are all based on their own dog friendly paddocks and offer vintage-style accommodation. The Shire Hut offers disabled friendly accommodation.

The Shire Hut

Our spacious hut was hand built for us by Elwy Shepherds Huts and comes equipped to a high standard. Inside there is a fully-equipped kitchen with a cooker, grill and 3 ring hob, a small fridge and Belfast sink. A wood-burner will keep you toasty and there is a wall-mounted TV and DVD player.

There is a Victorian cast iron bed and a wet room with a shower featuring both a fixed rose head and a separate hand-held shower head.

Outside there is a self-contained paddock to let your four-legged friend stretch their legs in. There is a picnic bench, solid wood rocking chairs and outside wood burner stove/BBQ for al fresco dining.

The Suffolk hut

We offer accommodation in our new hut, offering a Scopus interior and a railway theme. Inside here is come seating, a powerful electric radiator, a wall-mounted TV and DVD player. The well-equipped kitchen has a gas cooker, grill and 3 ring hob, a small fridge-freezer and Belfast sink.

There is a Victorian cast iron bed and a walk-in wet room with a large head shower.

Outside we have a Welsh slate patio next to the hut that comes with solid wood rocking chairs and a wood burner stove/BBQ. You can see the horse paddock only 100 feet away.

The Gypsy Hut

Our hut features a fireplace, a high ceiling and lots of outdoor space for your dog. Inside there are two armchairs, a small wood-burning stove and a wall-mounted TV and DVD player. A well-equipped kitchen has a gas cooker, grill and 3 ring hob, a small fridge-freezer and Belfast sink.

There is a spacious bedroom and a bathroom with a walk-in wet room.

Outside we have a Welsh slate patio next to the hut that comes with solid wood rocking chairs and a wood burner stove/BBQ for al fresco dining when the sun is shining.

The Clydesdale Hut

We offer accommodation in The Clydesdale hut, nestled in its owned fenced-off area and based with a 1-acre park with only 1 further hut. The hut comes with two leather armchairs, a small wood-burning stove, wall mounted TV and a DVD player. The kitchen comes with a variety of appliances including a gas cooker, grill and 3 ring hob, a small fridge and Belfast sink.

There is a Victorian cast iron bed and a bathroom with a luxurious double-end slipper bath and heated towel rail.

Your dog can run around in the hut’s self-contained paddock and there is also a picnic bench and wood burner stove/BBQ to enjoy.

All the huts come with complimentary kitchen essentials and all bed linen etc is provided.

There are many walks from the doorstep, with river walks not far away. We are only 15 minutes by car to the beach and you can visit lots of excellent attractions in the local area:
