At Bach Y Graig, we offer four-star self-catering accommodation in our 16th-century farmhouse, set on 200 acres of fertile farmland with private fishing rights on the River Clwyd in Denbighshire.

The large 5-star self-contained wing of our farmhouse prioritises your comfort and well-being. The cosy oak-panelled lounge features a wood burner, with an initial supply of logs included in the rent (additional logs can be purchased at the farm). The farmhouse also has full central heating and comes equipped with a TV, Freeview, DVD/CD player and radio.

The fully equipped kitchen includes a microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher, cooker and automatic washing machine. We also provide a cot and high chair. Recently renovated, the large lounge boasts two comfy sofas, a wood burner in a large inglenook and original features such as the bread oven, cauldron and slate floor.

The accommodation includes three large bedrooms: one twin, one double and one with a king-size four-poster bed. All linen and towels are included, with beds made up ready for your arrival. The family bathroom retains its traditional charm while offering modern facilities, including an original cast iron claw foot bath, a large shower cubicle, WC, wash basin and shaver point. There is also a downstairs toilet with a vanity unit.

Outside, you'll find a large enclosed garden with swings, a table and chairs. Guests are welcome to fish in the River Clwyd during the fishing season and explore the 40-acre medieval woodland trail, home to many rare plants.

Set in a historic woodland where Edward the Black Prince once hunted, Bach Y Graig offers a wealth of rare plants and flowers. The surrounding area features diverse landscapes, including fertile valleys, rolling hills, moorland, the rugged mountains of Snowdonia, sandy beaches and the historical city of Chester, all within an hour's drive. Bach Y Graig is an ideal base for a relaxing, peaceful holiday, with easy access to Snowdonia, Betws y Coed, Chester, coastal resorts and several National Trust properties.
